18 Months – But for Ohio State

April 29, 2016.   Not quite 18 months after Coach Myles’ stroke, and after Doctors removing a one inch blood clot from his brain, and after months and months of relearning to talk and walk and use his extremities, Coach Myles did an amazing thing.  But then I wouldn’t expect anything less from Bill!

Coach and I were interviewed on the April 29th WTGE Toledo Television Program Deadline Now!  The widely viewed current affairs program is hosted by Jack Lessenberry, well-known Professor of Journalism at Wayne State University. The half hour unscripted program consists of a host, a table, and a guest answering questions.  (See photo below)  That Bill could do the program, and do it so well, was remarkable, as Dr. Lessenberry noted on the air during the program.

It was also most gratifying to hear a noted professor of journalism tell us we “did a great job on the book.”  But what meant even more to me was to see Coach Myles back in the saddle, his mind still sharp, that Myles wit and intellect again on display.  You go Coach!  But for Ohio State and the doctors at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center!
